Currently, the Central California Traction Company operates on two segments of track: The Central Valley Branch between Stockton and Lodi, MP 0.0 BNSF & UPRR interchanges and MP 14.0 Guild, CA, and a 1-mile industrial lead into Lodi, California.
The Port of Stockton, Stockton Public Belt Railroad.: The Port of Stockton has 55 miles of track between the East and West (Rough & Ready Island). The Port of Stockton is the largest inland Port on the West Coast and 3rd largest Port in the State of California. With a channel depth of 34 feet, and over 8000 feet of on dock rail for direct ship to rail discharge.
CCT provides switching service to Penny Newman Grain and Duraflame products as the result of a lease of the UPRR Scotts street lead in January of 2008
CCT has 28 employees, 7 locomotives (4 SW 1500s and 3 Brookville Genset locomotives Tier IV),
CCT has interchanges with UPRR, BNSF, and STE in Stockton. BNSF and UPRR provide interchange to CCT at the Port of Stockton and in Stockton for traffic to and from Lodi, CA.
Office Hours are from 0430 to 1730, Monday through Friday.
Weekends from 0700 to 1400 hours.
